It can be lonely at the front of the pack

I’m Drake,
and I like to help leaders.

As great as it is, being a leader can also feel lonely. Whether you’re the top rung of the ladder, at the front of the pack, or even the first among equals - it pays to have someone to talk to. In fact, people pay me to do just that.

If you’re a business owner or leader who makes all your management decisions based on the bottom line, then I’m not the consultant for you. Because I believe that it’s possible to lead teams and organizations in ways that instill integrity and worth in your people. Actually, I believe it’s the best way to lead.

And it all comes down to relationships.

To help you,
I need to know you.

Cultivating Strong Client Relationships:
The Foundation of Effective Consulting

Establishing a robust relationship with clients is crucial for fostering great teamwork and informed decision-making. By understanding their perspectives, values, and thought processes, I become a trusted sounding board.

My leadership approach emphasizes a people-first philosophy, ensuring that ethical considerations shape our conversations and choices. I view tough decisions as opportunities for growth and clarity; however, to navigate these challenges effectively, it’s vital to truly grasp who my clients are and what drives them.

Engaging in open and honest dialogue allows us to explore the nuances of your viewpoints - and most importantly it allows me to give you a gut check.

Most leaders know deep down what the right decision is - especially when it comes to their people. The better I know you and your organization, the better I can remind you of what you probably already intuitively know.

Ultimately, by prioritizing ethical leadership and nurturing strong relationships, I empower my clients in ways that cater to the long-term health of their business or organization.

How we do this together

Routine Gut Checks
(Executives)

We check in as often as feels good for you. At least once a month is best, twice even better. You run by major developments with your team, decisions you’re weighing, and -

very importantly - how you’re doing.

The better I know you, your team, and your organization the better we can gut check together.

Management Coaching
(Middle Managers)

“Management” is often listed as a bullet on a
job description, and that’s the extent of the preparation for this; the most crucial role in any organization. New (and seasoned) managers often benefit from an outside perspective and a neutral space to try out approaches and troubleshoot tough situations.

It’s typical that I work with a manager for 1-3 sessions on a particular skill or issue. Once we build that relationship, it’s easy to pick back up as need be.

Team Building/Coaching

How teams communicate, regard each other, and their work together is the difference between success and failure - or at least a lot of unnecessary strife. I absolutely love meeting your team in person (or virtually) to work on real skills with real practice.

I’m also happy to simply observe a team meeting and get a sense of the dynamic. It’s a great place to start.

What do I know?

Great question! If you’re looking for credentials specific to executive coaching, or business, or organizational psychology…I’m not the consultant for you.

What I do know, is people.

If you want to get into the nitty gritty: I fell in love with sociology (how people are in groups) in undergrad. So much so that I went on to receive Maters of Education (MEd) and Masters of Divinity (MDiv) degrees. In all of this, I was offered opportunities to learn, test, and hone a leadership philosophy that works for bosses who are interested in making a better world while looking out for the overall health of their businesses.

Lets chat.

Thirty minutes can tell us a lot; probably enough to tell us if we’ll work well together.

And if either of us decide it’s not going to be a match - no worries!
